BIOGRAPHY

Pat Dargan was born in Limerick where he grew up and attended school. It is Limerick's proud past, it's stately architecture and captivating stories that helped form in him a deep love of Irish history. Pat moved to Dublin to complete his schooling and studied architecture, planning and art history in both London and Dublin. He worked initially as a professional architect before embarking on his academic career in the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Pat pursues his interests in Irish heritage by lecturing at the Dublin Institute of Technology, where he has supervised a range of student PhD programmes. Pat has lectured at the national and international level for academic and community audiences. He has an extensive list of published academic research papers on Irish heritage.
